Perched on a rocky promontory at the southern tip of the Lerici peninsula, Punta Santa Teresa Lighthouse is a striking white tower that has guided mariners since the 19th century. The lighthouse is still active, but its grounds are open to the public, offering one of the best vantage points in the area. From the base, visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the Gulf of La Spezia, the islands of Palmaria and Tino, and the rugged coastline stretching toward Cinque Terre. The site is surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and rocky cliffs, making it a peaceful spot for photography and quiet contemplation. A short path leads to the lighthouse, and benches are placed for taking in the scenery. The lighthouse itself is not open for tours, but the exterior and the panoramic terrace are accessible. It's a popular spot for sunset, when the sky and sea glow with warm colors.
