Panza is a sleepy hillside village on the western edge of Ischia, far from the bustle of the main ports. Its narrow streets are lined with whitewashed houses and small trattorias, leading down to a handful of pebble beaches. The main draw is the nearby Sorgeto hot springs, where thermal waters bubble up from the sand and mix with the sea, creating natural hot tubs at low tide. Visitors can soak in the warm, mineral-rich waters while waves crash around them. The village itself offers a glimpse of traditional island life, with a small piazza and a church. Hiking trails from Panza lead through Mediterranean scrub to panoramic viewpoints over the sea.
