Palazzo Bianco is a 16th-century palace on Via Garibaldi that now serves as an art museum, renowned for its exceptional collection of European paintings. The palace was originally built for the Grimaldi family and later acquired by the Brignole-Sale family, who expanded the art collection. The museum's highlights include works by Caravaggio, Rubens, and Dürer, as well as a strong representation of Genoese and Flemish artists. The galleries are arranged chronologically, offering a journey through art from the 13th to the 18th century. The building itself is elegant, with white stone facades (hence the name) and beautifully restored interiors. Together with Palazzo Rosso and Palazzo Doria Tursi, it forms the Musei di Strada Nuova, a must-visit for art lovers in Genoa.

  • Rubens' 'Venus and Mars', a dynamic Baroque painting
