The Museo Nazionale di San Marco is a museum housed in a 15th-century Dominican convent, offering a unique glimpse into monastic life and Renaissance art. The museum is famous for its collection of works by Fra Angelico, a Dominican friar and painter. Visitors can see his frescoes in the monks' cells, including the iconic Annunciation at the top of the stairs. The museum also features works by other artists, such as Fra Bartolomeo and Ghirlandaio, as well as a library designed by Michelozzo. The peaceful cloisters and chapter house add to the contemplative atmosphere.
