The Arch of Hadrian in Capua is a magnificent Roman triumphal arch dating from the early 2nd century AD. It was built to honor Emperor Hadrian, who visited the city and contributed to its development. The arch stands at the entrance to the historic center of Capua, once a major Roman city. Despite the passage of time, the structure remains remarkably intact, with its single archway and decorative reliefs still visible. The arch is made of white marble from Carrara and features inscriptions and sculpted panels that celebrate Hadrian's achievements.
