Monte Faito is a mountain in the Monti Lattari range, rising above the Amalfi Coast. It is a popular destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts, offering a network of trails through chestnut and beech forests. The summit provides spectacular panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples, the Sorrento Peninsula, and the entire Amalfi Coast. On clear days, you can see Capri, Ischia, and even Vesuvius. The area is cooler than the coast, making it a refreshing escape in summer. Along the trails, you may encounter wildflowers, birds, and occasional wildlife. The mountain is also accessible by cable car from Castellammare di Stabia, adding to the adventure.
