Tell el-Kheleifeh is an archaeological mound near the Jordanian border, widely believed to be the site of biblical Ezion-Geber. Excavations have revealed Iron Age fortifications, copper smelting furnaces, and pottery, indicating a thriving industrial and trade center. Visitors can walk among the excavated ruins, seeing stone walls and gate structures that date back to the 10th century BCE. The site provides a tangible connection to the biblical past.
