Kursi, a national park on the eastern shore of the Sea of Galilee, is traditionally identified as the location where Jesus cast demons into a herd of pigs (the miracle of the Gadarene swine). Visitors can see the remains of a large Byzantine monastery and church, with well-preserved mosaic floors depicting animals and geometric patterns. The site includes a chapel built over the cave where the demoniac was said to have lived, offering a serene, less-crowded alternative to other Galilee sites.
