Harod Stream is a perennial watercourse fed by the Harod Springs, flowing through the Harod Valley in northern Israel. The area is a popular nature reserve with well-marked hiking trails that follow the stream, passing through lush vegetation, ancient water mills, and small waterfalls. Visitors can walk along shaded paths, cross wooden bridges, and spot birds and fish in the clear water. The stream's year-round flow makes it a refreshing escape, especially in spring when wildflowers bloom. The site also has historical significance as the location of Gideon's spring in biblical accounts.

Don't miss

  • Hike the circular trail along the stream, passing old water mills and small waterfalls.
  • Picnic at designated spots under eucalyptus trees near the springs.
  • Look for the biblical spring of Harod, associated with Gideon's army.
