Yardena is a well-developed baptismal site on the Jordan River, designed to accommodate large numbers of Christian pilgrims. Unlike the more rustic Jordan River Crossing, Yardena features paved paths, changing rooms, and a large pool-like area where visitors can wade into the river for symbolic immersion. The site is landscaped with gardens and shaded seating, making it comfortable for groups. Many pilgrims purchase white robes and certificates as mementos. The water is shallow and calm, ideal for ceremonies.
