Tell Arpachiyah is an archaeological site near Mosul, Iraq, dating back to the Halaf period (c. 6100–5100 BCE). This prehistoric tell reveals layers of ancient settlements with distinctive painted pottery and early agricultural tools. Excavations have uncovered circular buildings and burial sites, providing a window into Neolithic life. Visitors can see the mound's stratified earth and imagine the community that thrived here.
