The Great Mosque of Kufa is a historic mosque dating back to the 7th century, revered as the site where Imam Ali was fatally struck while praying. The mosque also houses the tomb of Muslim ibn Aqeel, Imam Ali's envoy to Kufa. Visitors can see the prayer niche where Imam Ali was attacked, as well as the courtyard and ancient pillars.
