Al-Kazimiyya Mosque, located in the Kadhimiya district of Baghdad, is one of the holiest Shia sites in Iraq. Its gleaming golden domes and four minarets dominate the skyline. Inside, the shrine complex contains the tombs of the seventh Imam, Musa al-Kadhim, and the ninth Imam, Muhammad al-Jawad. Pilgrims and visitors alike are struck by the intricate tilework, mirror work, and the serene atmosphere of the courtyards.
