Kenjeran Bridge, also known as Suroboyo Bridge, is a through arch bridge that spans the coastal area of eastern Surabaya, connecting Kenjeran Beach to the Bulak Fisheries Center. It is 800 meters long, 18 meters wide, and 12 meters high, supported by 150 stakes. The bridge is built in a circular design with a fountain at its center.

A bit of history

Construction began in January 2015 by the Indonesian state-owned company PT Hutama Karya, as part of the Eastern Surabaya Outer Ring-road project. The bridge was inaugurated on 9 July 2016 with fireworks and lanterns released by the Mayor of Surabaya. The project faced criticism from city council members and experts for lacking good planning and being inefficient.
