Kembang Kuning War Cemetery is a peaceful, landscaped burial ground in Surabaya that holds the remains of over 1,000 Allied servicemen from World War II, primarily Dutch, British, and Australian soldiers. Visitors walk among rows of identical white headstones, each inscribed with the soldier's name, rank, and emblem. The cemetery features a Cross of Sacrifice and a Stone of Remembrance, set amid manicured lawns and flowering shrubs. It offers a quiet space for reflection on the sacrifices made during the Pacific campaign.
