House of Sampoerna is a well-preserved Dutch colonial building that once housed a kretek cigarette factory. Today, it serves as a museum where visitors can explore the history of Indonesia's clove cigarette industry. Guided tours take you through the original factory floor, where workers still hand-roll cigarettes, and a museum displaying antique cigarette-making equipment and memorabilia. The complex also includes a café and art gallery.
