Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park (GWK) is a sprawling cultural park on Bali's southern Bukit Peninsula, dominated by the colossal 121-meter-tall statue of the Hindu god Vishnu mounted on the mythical bird Garuda. The park is designed as a venue for Balinese cultural performances, art exhibitions, and events, with open-air stages and traditional architecture. Visitors can explore the park's landscaped gardens, view the statue up close from an elevator, and watch Kecak dance shows against a sunset backdrop. The site also offers panoramic views of the surrounding coastline and is a symbol of Bali's Hindu heritage.

Don't miss

  • Viewing the massive Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue from the observation deck
