The Grand Mosque of Medan, also known as Masjid Raya Al-Mashun, was completed in 1906 during the Deli Sultanate. Its striking Moorish architecture features black domes, minarets, and intricate calligraphy. The mosque's spacious prayer hall can accommodate thousands of worshippers. Visitors are welcome outside prayer times; women must cover their heads. The mosque's serene courtyard and reflecting pools add to its beauty, making it a must-see landmark.
