Serangan Island lies just south of Bali's mainland, connected by a bridge. Visitors come for the Serangan Turtle Conservation & Education Center, where rescued sea turtles are rehabilitated and released. The island also features the important Hindu temple Pura Dalem Sakenan, with its distinctive multi-tiered meru shrines. The atmosphere is quieter than Kuta's main beaches, offering a glimpse of local island life and coastal scenery.
