Vayalur Murugan Temple is a popular hilltop shrine dedicated to Lord Murugan, situated on a small hill in Tiruchirappalli. Devotees climb steps to reach the temple, which is known for its vibrant festivals and spiritual ambiance. The temple complex includes shrines to Murugan and his consorts, Valli and Deivanai. Visitors enjoy the scenic views from the top, the cool breeze, and the sense of tranquility. The temple is especially crowded during Tamil month of Thai (January–February) and on Fridays.
