Perched on a hilltop in the Zabarwan Range, Shankaracharya Temple is one of Srinagar's oldest Hindu temples, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The stone structure dates back centuries and is reached by a steep flight of steps. From the temple platform, visitors are rewarded with sweeping views of Srinagar city, Dal Lake, and the surrounding mountains.
