Kaba Gandhi No Delo

Kaba Gandhi No Delo is a modest two-story house on Kasturba Gandhi Road in Rajkot, Gujarat, where Mahatma Gandhi spent part of his childhood. The building, originally the home of his father Karamchand Gandhi (who worked as a diwan, or prime minister, in the local princely state), has been preserved as a museum. A bit of history

Kaba Gandhi No Delo was the residence of Mahatma Gandhi's father, Karamchand Gandhi, who served as diwan of Rajkot. Gandhi lived here from age 6 to 12 (around 1876-1882) while attending primary school. The building was later converted into a museum by the Gandhi Memorial Society and opened to the public.
