A bit of history
The Hauz Khas reservoir was built in the 13th–14th centuries to supply the city of Siri, and Sultan Firuz Shah Tughlaq added the madrasa, mosque, and tombs around it in the 14th century. The surrounding urban village was later transformed into a fashionable arts, dining, and nightlife district.
