Anamudi, meaning 'elephant's forehead,' is the highest peak in the Western Ghats and the tallest point south of the Himalayas. Rising to 2,695 meters, it is a premier trekking destination within Eravikulam National Park. The trek rewards climbers with breathtaking panoramic views of rolling hills, tea estates, and the surrounding shola forests. The summit is often shrouded in mist, adding to its mystical allure.
