Drawn by the brand name visited the place. The vibe lives up to the hype. The servers go out of their way to walk up to cars and take orders and make you feel special. The sitaphal cream which is a delicacy wasn’t much to my liking. It was heavy with whipped cream while I would have liked fresh cream better. There wasn’t a choice provided.
We visited Bachelorr’s Ice Cream Shake Parlour at around 1:00 AM, drawn by its reputed name and the late-night appeal. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the hype. We tried their Choco Chocolate Shake with extra chocolate, which was just average, lacking the rich flavor you’d expect. The Chiku Shake was overly sweet and didn’t impress either. The Veg Grilled Sandwich was also just okay, nothing special. Considering it’s a car take-away spot with no seating, the prices felt steep. To top it off, it’s only open until 1:30 AM, not the all-night joint it once was. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and the quality doesn’t justify the cost.
The stall is located down the road from Girgaon Chowpatty. The stall itself isn't to hard to find since it is well lit and there is a sign above it. They have a digital menu which uses a QR code which was quite convenient. Once you're ready to order just head up to one of the people working there, who all seem to be wearing a uniform. They do understand English so ordering wasn't difficult I think I was charged more than what was on the menu but that might have been the tax. There are no tables but there were some seating on the side of the road. It wasn't too busy so I was motioned to one of these seats and waited there for my food. I quite liked the royal falooda. They do have such a large range of different drinks including shakes which all seem tasty. I also had the pav bhaji and that was quite nice. The onions gave it a spice kick and flavour and the pav was so buttery. It was just a little hard to eat without a table but it was quite tasty. It is a nice stop for some tasty street food which you eat on the street.
Great ice creams. Our favorite is the chili and orange icecream. The sandwiches are delicious as well.
