Mumbai boasts a vibrant culinary scene, with a notable presence of Thai cuisine reflecting the city's diverse gastronomic landscape. Among the best Thai restaurants in Mumbai, establishments like Thai Pavilion, located in the ITC Maratha hotel, and Benjarong in Andheri are often cited for their authenticity and quality. These venues serve traditional dishes such as Tom Yum Goong, a spicy and sour shrimp soup, and Pad Thai, a stir-fried noodle dish that combines rice noodles with eggs, tofu, and a tangy sauce. The popularity of Thai food in Mumbai has grown significantly over the past two decades, with many local Thai restaurants offering a range of dishes that cater to both authentic tastes and local preferences. For instance, restaurants like Mango Tree and The Thai Kitchen provide affordable Thai dining options without compromising on flavor. Typical price ranges for a meal at these establishments can vary from INR 600 to INR 2,000 per person, depending on the venue and the complexity of the dishes ordered. In addition to well-known spots, there are numerous popular Thai spots in Mumbai that offer unique takes on traditional recipes. Dishes such as Massaman Curry, a rich and aromatic curry with influences from Indian cuisine, and Som Tum, a spicy green papaya salad, are frequently featured on menus across the city. The historical context of Thai cuisine in Mumbai can be traced back to the increasing globalization of the food industry, with Thai restaurants gaining traction in the late 1990s. Today, the city's culinary diversity is a testament to the growing appreciation for international cuisines, making it a hub for both locals and tourists seeking authentic Thai dining experiences. The list includes top-rated venues like By the Mekong and Seefah with JetlyGo scores reaching 76. These venues are among the most reviewed Thai establishments in Mumbai, with the top restaurant in this category receiving more than 2300 combined reviews from Google and TripAdvisor.

✨ HighlightBefore the first bite had even hit the plate, I was already captivated by the exceptional service at By The Mekong, thanks to the delightful Marina, the host extraordinaire. From the moment I approached the stand, Marina exuded warmth and grace, greeting me with a smile and immediately guiding me to a table with a perfect view of the city. When it wasn’t quite ready, she thoughtfully led me to a comfortable seating area, taking the time to inquire about any allergies—a first in my experience in Mumbai, and one I truly appreciated. With a menu in hand, I was given a few moments to peruse, before Marina returned, swiftly escorting me to my now-prepared table. She then made a point of informing the server of both my name and allergy—an attention to detail that speaks volumes about the level of care that defines the restaurant’s service. Marina’s upbeat demeanor and seamless, personalized service left a lasting impression, perfectly embodying the high standards of By The Mekong. If only every dining experience could mirror this level of professionalism and hospitality. If you’re looking to experience five star service, look no further than By The Mekong.→

✨ HighlightThe roast tenderloin sando was too buttery and had too much caramelized onions and was literally sweet. The Japanese mains and appetizers were very good. Drinks were delicious but low on alcohol content. Honey toast with sesame and ginger ice cream was the star dish. Worst part of the experience was the exceptionally bad service- waiter will rush you to order, interrupt conversation and hurry you to order, eat and leave 3 courses and drinks within 2 hours to maintain table turnover. Very off putting service. Won't be going again just because of the bad service.→
