Nakki Lake is a picturesque artificial lake nestled in the heart of Mount Abu, believed to have been dug by the gods according to local legend. Surrounded by lush hills and rocky outcrops, the lake offers a tranquil escape for visitors. Boating is a favorite activity, with paddleboats and rowboats available for hire. In the evenings, the lakeside promenade comes alive with locals and tourists strolling, enjoying street food, and watching the sunset paint the sky over the water. The lake is also a starting point for short hikes to nearby viewpoints.
Don't miss
- A peaceful boat ride on the calm waters, with views of the surrounding hills
- The evening aarti (prayer ceremony) at the small temple on the lake's edge
- A sunset walk along the promenade, with vendors selling local snacks and souvenirs
