Lal Baradari, meaning 'Red Pavilion,' is a historic building constructed in the 19th century by Nawab Saadat Ali Khan II. Originally used as a coronation hall for the Nawabs of Awadh, it now houses a museum and art gallery. The red sandstone structure features twelve doors, symbolizing the twelve months, and a grand durbar hall. Visitors can view artifacts including royal costumes, weapons, paintings, and manuscripts. The building's intricate carvings and spacious courtyards offer a glimpse into Lucknow's regal past.
