This restaurant is nostalgic. Whenever I and my parents went to Esplanade, we had food here. A nice aroma welcomes you when you enter. However, this time, after so many years I found it a bit underwhelming. Biryani was good, but kebabs were too dry. We also ordered chicken rezala which was too watery and tasteless. When we told this to the server he gave the following excuse: "the cook recently changed and thats why the taste is different". Certainly NOT the answer we were looking for. In any good place they would have offered a replacement, or at least an apology. The phirni was tasty. My recommendation will be only the biryani.
First of all, their Biriyani was not up to the mark, people overrate this place, barra kababs were quite good, price of foods are quite high as compare to quality. Service was nice, its a heritage of new market, you may try their food once, not twice.
I ordered there Special mutton biryani, I was so upset when I tasted the food. It was so cheap in quality, the quality of the mutton was so bad. I believed many people saying bad about their quality. When I complained the person attending the phone was arguing instead of apologies.
