Oudh 1590 - Deshapriya Park

We have recently visited Oudh 1590 Deshapriya Park Outlet and ordered Murgh Afghani Kabab, Ghost Awadi Handi Biryani and Murgh Kundan Kalia which was delivered within 5 minutes after ordering. The main course also did come with the starter, and when we taste the biryani it was not hot and tasted very dry. All the main course item was cold. Lastly they added the price of mineral water which we didn't consumed, after telling that to the manager he left with my credit card and gets it corrected manually. Even after his fault, his behaviour was rude and looks like it should be good if we pay for the water which we didn't consume. Food was descent, not as expected as it is hyped. My opinion is to train the staff and manager well to deal with customer and make their experience better.

The ambience is super nice. The exteriors are also super thoughtfully done the interiors have a tasteful and royal feel. We tried the galouti kebab. It was decent and went well with their paratha. The Kolkatta style biryani was nice as well. Mild and the aloo and mutton were well seasoned. However, for just these two items our bill came upto almost a 1000 rupees. I feel like that is not very good value for money. Worth it if you’re ok spending a little extra money to try out some biryani. They had a lot of different options.

I went with my daughter for dinner and met with harrowing experiences. We were the only persons when we arrived at 7 pm, but the crowd swelled later. The music playing at the background was loud and disturbing enough to not being able to have a decent conversation across the table. In spite of requesting twice, the sound was not controlled. As an usual gesture at any restaurant when we sit down we usually pour out our pockets and keep stuffs on the table like glasses, mobiles, cigarettes etc. Here on doing so, I was asked by the waiter to hide my cigarettes under the table, which I consider quite rude, as my cigarette pack was bought by me with my own money and not stolen or otherwise, and I was not even lighting one in a non smoking environment. We had galouti kebab with lucknowi paratha, which were heavenly then we had some handi biriyani with curry pata, suggested by the waiter, which was a big letdown. The potato was half cooked and the food tasted awefull. Probably I have crossed my limit of visiting Oudh 1590. Never again will I let myself or my family to such nightmares at this place.

Amazing food! LOVED the vegetable biriyani and the mahi kaliya. I don't usually like fish. But, I loved this fish dish. It was sooo well done! And, the vegetable biriyani was the best biriyani I have ever tasted in my entire life, so creamy! But, the atmosphere is very dark, you can hardly see the food. 5 stars for the amazing food. 1 star for the atmosphere. I don't like the ambience at all. But, I would definitely visit again for the food!
