Kodaikanal Lake is a star-shaped artificial lake constructed in 1863 by the then collector of Madurai. It is the heart of the town, surrounded by a 5-kilometer promenade lined with pine and eucalyptus trees. Visitors can enjoy paddle boating, rowing, or cycling around the lake. The calm waters reflect the surrounding hills, making it a perfect spot for relaxation and photography. Horse rides and food stalls add to the lively atmosphere.
