Mandore, once the capital of the Marwar kingdom, is a serene historical park featuring lush gardens, intricately carved cenotaphs of Marwar rulers, and ancient temples. Visitors can wander among the red sandstone chhatris (cenotaphs) of former maharajas, explore the Hall of Heroes with its colorful folk deities, and see the remains of the Mandore Fort. The gardens offer a peaceful retreat from Jodhpur's bustle, with peacocks roaming freely and well-maintained lawns ideal for picnics.
