This place gives you an ultimate Dhaba experience. It’s quirky, lively and has yummy food. The ambience is perfect for a dhaba, and one must visit this place for the unique experience it offers. You will find yourself being amused by every detail that they have put in, to make it a perfect dhaba setting. Their must try items are Lassi 🥛, Mutton seekh kababs, Butter chicken🥘 and Garlic naan. The service is great and yes, there are some lively songs played in the background, which complete the dhaba setting. One thing to keep in mind, is that it is an open air restaurant (with roof), and so it is obviously not air conditioned. But yes, they do have some quirky water coolers (like the ones you may find at the dhabas), which keeps the place cool. Must watch out for the mosquitoes. They seem to have measures in place to keep the mosquitoes at bay, but you do encounter a couple of them once in a while.
I have been to Grand Trunk road for lunch buffet and let me tell you it was just average. I had heard loadz of good things about this place but when I visited this place then everything which could go wrong happened with me. The dishes were dirty, the food options were limited and the food was just AVERAGE. The taste wasn't close to North Indian food. We had a chat with the manager and the reason he gave us was that there is a large party(>50 people) coming to the restaurant and we are focusing on that. I mean you could have told me the same thing when I called up to book a slot in the lunch buffet that you won't be able to provide good service or good food.
