Deepor Beel Wildlife Sanctuary is a freshwater lake and wetland ecosystem located about 10 kilometers southwest of Guwahati, Assam. It is one of the largest and most important wetlands in the Brahmaputra Valley, recognized as a Ramsar site for its rich biodiversity.
