Andhra Pradesh Bhavan Canteen, located in the heart of Delhi, India, is a delightful homage to authentic South Indian cuisine. This state canteen not only serves up generous portions of beloved dishes but also creates a vibrant atmosphere where diners are welcomed with warm Telugu greetings. The thali, with its unlimited refills (though sharing is a no-go), is a standout feature that brings patrons back for more. While the ambiance leans towards a utilitarian style, the swift and courteous service shines through the bustling crowd. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this eatery offers a unique taste of Andhra culture that’s well worth a visit.

This is a state canteen where you get to eat authentic cuisine of the respective state. The prices are quite expensive for a state canteen. I've haduch cheaper food at eateries who are way better in ambience. But the experience is what makes it a thing to adore. First off you are greeted by the Telugu greetings. The servers are quick and very calm. The food is just great. The quantity is apt but the thali is the steal deal. They offer UNLIMITED supply for thalis. Just you cannot share the thali. You can check the menu in the pics attached. We also gets free refills of gravy and raita with Biryani. Nearest Metro station is Mandi House. And the rickshaws are available as well. You will enjoy if you are a non Andhra-ite. NOTE: The Telangana Canteen is also the same as Andhra.
Great place to have quick lunch. Fixed menu, very good service. Vibrant atmosphere, with little bit of waiting. Good price
Good and cheap place for dining. Its good for typical Andhra food. The food is cheap and value for money. Parking is an issue as there are no parking space.
think both telugu Govt. Should swing into action to set right this eatery otherwise, public coming allover India may think, this is the food quality and culture of Telugu people , one time ok , I thought main chef may be on leave , second, third time.. OMG horrible food with horrible taste , 10 years back , people from various walks of like use to come and have Telugu food and use to recommend their Biryani , now you just go and taste .. North Indian village people may confuse it with gobar both look and taste , no regrets for the management, they have become like , if come OK , if you don't come again double OK , they are least bothered about customers as they know because of AP and Telangana bhavans they have captive bakara customers ! Shame on the AP Bhavan restaurant
