The Tower of Fame, or Kirti Stambh, is a remarkable seven-story tower located within the sprawling Chittaurgarh Fort complex in Rajasthan. Built in the 12th century, it stands 22 meters (72 feet) tall and is dedicated to Adinath, the first Jain Tirthankara. The tower is a stunning example of Jain architecture, covered from base to top with intricate carvings of Jain deities, celestial beings, and ornate patterns. Unlike the nearby Victory Tower (Vijay Stambh), which celebrates a military triumph, the Tower of Fame is a symbol of spiritual victory and renunciation. Visitors can climb the narrow spiral staircase to the top for sweeping views of the fort and the surrounding plains. The tower's pale stone contrasts beautifully with the blue sky, and the detailed sculptures reward close inspection. It is less crowded than the Victory Tower, offering a more contemplative experience.
