Mangla Gauri Temple is one of the most important Shakti Peethas in Hinduism, located atop a hill in Gaya. Dedicated to Goddess Durga, it is believed to be where the goddess's breast fell during the cosmic dance of Shiva. The temple features a black stone idol of the goddess and a small shrine. Visitors climb a flight of stairs to reach the temple, rewarded with sweeping views of Gaya city and the distant hills. The site is especially vibrant during Navratri festivals.
