Gaya Airport, officially known as Gaya International Airport, is the closest air link to Bodh Gaya, located about 12 kilometers away. It handles a steady flow of international pilgrims, especially from Thailand, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka, who come to visit the Mahabodhi Temple.
