Built in 1472 by Prime Minister Mahmud Gawan, this madrasa was a renowned center of learning in the Deccan. Its Persian-inspired design features a grand iwan, minarets, and a central courtyard surrounded by lecture halls and a mosque. The intricate tile work and calligraphy on the facade are highlights. Though partially ruined, the structure still conveys its former grandeur. Visitors can explore the surviving rooms and imagine scholars studying here centuries ago.
