Kanak Bhawan, also known as Sone-ki-Mandir, is a revered Hindu temple in Ayodhya dedicated to Lord Rama and his consort Sita. The temple's name means 'Golden Palace,' referring to the striking gold-plated statues of Rama and Sita that adorn the sanctum. According to local tradition, the temple was gifted by Queen Vrishbhanu of the Gupta dynasty. Visitors are captivated by the intricate gold work and the serene ambiance of the temple, which is less crowded than the main Ram Mandir. The temple also features beautiful murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana, making it a peaceful spot for reflection.
