Vishnuprayag, one of the Panch Prayag (five sacred confluences) in Uttarakhand, marks the meeting of the Alaknanda and Dhauliganga rivers. According to Hindu mythology, this is where sage Narada meditated, and the site is considered highly auspicious for rituals. The turquoise and emerald waters of the two rivers create a striking visual contrast against the backdrop of rugged mountains. Visitors can witness priests performing ceremonies on the banks, and the nearby temple adds to the spiritual ambiance. The site is also a gateway to the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib.
