If you have been to Ahamdabad Gota, you have heard of ambika dalvada the are famous for there dal vada and it is a treat to eat them the price is 400rs per Kg, they prepare it freshly as per the orders and are served hot with fried chillies and onion and they even sell the batter if you wana try make them at home if you have guest arriving but want to serve them as hot snacks later.
Dalwada was authentic as it should be. It was crispy and warm freshly served along with chopped onions and fried chillis. However, it all was ruined by the behaviour of the owner. He was living in his own space, treating customers like they're here for free food. They should improve their management also, like giving very priority to the online orders. Keeping aside this, their other branch is well managed. Even otherwise you can get your dalwada being delivered.
This place serving good dalwada to enjoy, but I feel it's okay in taste, not extraordinary. If you are nearby Gota area can try for once, it is a general place when people can eat by standing around table.
Undoubtedly the first name that comes to your mind when you talk of dalwada. The place attracts huge crowd specially during rains as the residents crave for Dalwada. Served with fried chilli and Slices onion, the delicacy is hot favourite. The place is really small and only has a couple of tables. Inspite of having only one item on their menu, the place is never short of visitors. Post having its Dalwada, one would surely feel that the hype is for real.
