Uppspretta is a natural geothermal hot spring located just outside Keflavik, beloved by locals for its warm, mineral-rich waters. The spring feeds a small pool where visitors can soak year-round, surrounded by the stark Reykjanes landscape. Unlike commercial geothermal spas, Uppspretta offers a rustic, no-frills experience, just you, the warm water, and the open sky. It's a perfect spot for a relaxing dip after exploring the area, with temperatures typically ranging from 38–40°C (100–104°F). The site is free to access and maintained by the community.
