St. Michael's Cathedral, located on Castle Hill, is the oldest cathedral in Hungary, built on the site of an earlier 11th-century church. The current Baroque and Neoclassical structure dates from the 18th and 19th centuries. Visitors can admire its twin towers, ornate interior, and the crypt housing medieval remains. The cathedral remains an active place of worship and a key religious landmark in Veszprém.
