Lake Hévíz is the second-largest thermal lake in the world and the largest in Europe, situated within a nature reserve. The lake's water, containing sulfur, radium, and other minerals, maintains a constant temperature of around 33°C (91°F) in summer and 26°C (79°F) in winter. Visitors can swim in the lake, walk along the boardwalks through the surrounding reed beds, and observe diverse birdlife. The lake is a popular destination for health tourism.
