Lake Hévíz is the largest natural thermal lake on Earth, fed by a spring that replenishes its warm, slightly radioactive waters every 28 hours. Visitors can swim in the lake's distinctive lily-covered surface, which maintains a temperature of 24–26°C in winter and up to 36°C in summer. The lake's mud and water are reputed to have therapeutic benefits for rheumatic and joint ailments. A floating wooden walkway allows easy access to deeper areas, and the surrounding park offers peaceful walking paths.
