Heroes' Square (Hősök tere) is one of Budapest's most iconic landmarks, a vast, open plaza at the end of Andrássy Avenue. The centerpiece is the Millennium Monument, a towering column topped by the Archangel Gabriel, flanked by colonnades featuring statues of Hungarian kings and national heroes. Visitors can admire the intricate stonework and symbolism, including the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The square is also flanked by the Museum of Fine Arts and the Palace of Art, making it a cultural hub. It's a must-see for its historical significance and photogenic grandeur.
