The Tsing Ma Bridge is a landmark suspension bridge spanning the Ma Wan Channel, connecting the islands of Tsing Yi and Ma Wan. Completed in 1997, it is a key part of the Lantau Link, providing road and rail access to Hong Kong International Airport. The bridge's unique double-deck structure carries both highway traffic on the upper level and railway lines on the lower deck. At 1,377 meters in length, it is one of the longest suspension bridges in the world. Drivers and passengers crossing the bridge enjoy dramatic views of the channel, with container ships passing beneath and the distant peaks of Lantau Island on the horizon.

  • Double-deck design with road and rail traffic running simultaneously
