The Iglesia y Convento de la Compañía de Jesús was built by the Jesuits in the 17th century as a church and educational complex. Though partially ruined by earthquakes, the site retains a magnificent Baroque facade with intricate stone carvings. The large central courtyard, surrounded by arched corridors, gives a sense of the scale of the original school. Visitors can explore the ruins, climb onto surviving walls for views, and imagine the intellectual life that once thrived here.
