The Colossus of Rhodes was a towering statue of the sun god Helios, erected around 280 BCE to celebrate Rhodes' victory over Cyprus. Standing approximately 33 meters high, it was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Although no trace remains today, visitors can imagine its grandeur at the Mandraki Harbor, where it once stood. The site offers a glimpse into ancient engineering marvels, with nearby museums displaying artifacts from the period.
